Good morning,
my name is Mauro, from Italy, and I am 48 years old.
I have always been passionate about computer science.
In recent years I have approached the Apple world, I picked up the books (having found myself without work) and I learned to develop software in Swift for Apple devices.
By pure chance I came across a very old Nintendo Game & Watch from 1981 and I realized that they are really hellish games; once taken in hand, they are still terribly engaging and beautiful.
I decided to make some projects for iPhone (and iPad) of these Vintage Games; and I'm still realizing it.
I opened the Facebook page "Back to the 80's - The Games" and started to publish some games on the Apple App Store.
Some are classics for nostalgics, others are completely new to my design (both graphics and gaming).
I wanted to convey the feeling of having those small old consoles in my hands physically, keeping intact the effects of liquid crystals and the basic sound.
Actually on the App Store there are 8 Games for download (an 9th is under review) and in my plans I want to realize about 2 games/month until 2020.
