I need a bit of help from G&W experts.

At a local retro-games Facebook group there is currently an ongoing auction for a blisterpack Octopus. The bid is already so high (£240), and auction ends tomorrow. I'm second highest bidder, but I'm thinking of just letting it go, and hope for a cheaper one at some other time.

My question is:
- How rare is an Octopus blisterpack? I have a hard time finding any pictures or info, except for Japanese version.
- How much would be "fair" to pay?
- What would you do?

Was hoping to find some price history or something like that - Have been looking through this sites archive, but cannot find anything. Cannot find anything on Google (Not even an image) and nothing on eBay. The price will go much higher when auction ends, so I would really like to know, how much would be fair to pay.

This blister is as much worth as you (and your wallet) are willing to pay…
It’s not possible to tell you an exact price, because such rare items can go for a lot, but sometimes, if demand is low, they go for less.

I would judge the price something between £500 and £1500 as an approximate guess.

Me and one other guy bid against each other, and when it got over £500, I had to stop. Too expensive for me, sadly

I've been a member of this site for a long time - Mostly using the database and stuff, but never posted anything. Nice to see people are helpful. I hope I can join in and contribute with something in the future
