Coolest/Luckiest place you ever got a Game & Watch at? was created by Lems
What is the coolest place you ever found a Game & Watch at? For instance, did you ever walk into a used items store and seen it at an incredibly low price?
I just went to PAX East and they had a few Retro items booths. I saw a Popeye Panorama at the first one I went to. I didn't get it since I just got Popeye Panorama last November.
The next Retro booth had a bunch of cool stuff like NES games and accessories, but obviously there's always a nice chance that they're hiding a unit, so I asked them. The guy points me to the person at the counter and says he might have a Donkey Kong.
I went there, and it wasn't there, but he did still have another unit.
It was Snoopy Tennis, and I always thought the game looked interesting. The unit was in very good condition, almost new like minus the really faint scratches.
The price wasn't the best, but I got it. I thought, I might as well since I'm here. It'll add really cool personal value to it, remind me of the fun I had at PAX.
I showed my friends later on and they thought it was interesting. One of my friends played my Mini Classic Fire, and then my Super Mario Bros I brought with me, so I showed him the unit and he played that as well. Got 73 points on Game A.
So have you guys ever found a Game & Watch at an interesting place like that? Just a place you'd never think you'd expect, or at least need luck for it to be there. A Garage sale, a flea market. From a friend, or anything?

When I started collecting (almost ten years ago), I walked into a toy store just around the corner where I live. This toy store is there for ages.
I was looking around an discovered two Micro vs. System Boxing and one Micro vs. System DK 3 !
All three of them brand new and with a half price sticker on them. :ok2:
I never really did expect to find Game&Watch in a toy store, and most of all not just a few meters away from my home.
No question I bought them right away! :MEX:

Nice! Man, speaking of a brand new Micro vs, I saw a never opened DK hockey that sold for 40 on ebay. I was so mad at myself that I didn't get it, but I didn't have enough money at the time and I thought the autobid would skyrocket if I tried to get it.
