What would be the BEST fitted G&W to start my collection off right from the beginning?

Hi, that's easy, just listen to your heart ;)

I was starting with the one I played in my childhood :)

I don't think there is a right or wrong strategy

Hi, I collect some time now and prices are going up and up. I think you should collect the more special ones first, but the problem is that they are very expensive already. But they will be more expensive in the future I think. So if you start with he cheaper ones you can start with the double screens or the new wide screens. Try to buy them in a lot. It will be cheaper sometimes;)

Hi GeekOfTheWeek

The best way to start a collection is the way that does fit your needs...
...and to learn about Game&Watch.

For your help, ask and answer yourself a few questions:
  • What is the reason for collecting Game&Watch?
  • How many of the 60 G&W games do you want to collect?
  • Do you want to collect special international editions such as Pocketsize or tricOtronic as well?
  • Boxed or lose?
  • What condition?
  • What is your timeframe for collecting?
  • How much money are you willing to spend for your hobby?

In general I believe it is better to start collecting with common stuff (= rather easy to get the items and not too expensive as well), no matter what collecting.

This way and in case if you don’t get hit by the collectors virus, you can get rid of the items without a big loss.

On the other hand if you get hit by the collectors virus, you have a very good start already and you can continue collecting!
