My new G&W has no sound, how to fix it? was created by Demarki
Greetings,
Today I received a Safe Buster G&W which I purchased from ebay for 22 GBP.
Anyway, the problem is that it has no sound at all, I tried removing batteries, pressing the ACL button (which didn't do anything) but it doesn't peep at all. Is there a way to fix it?
Also another observation, when I removed the batteries and put them back in the screen did not display all the graphics like in the rest G&W I had, is this normal?
Thanks in advance!

I guess you would need to open the game and check if you can see any problem inside (loose wire for example).Demarki wrote: Greetings,

No, the characters should be dark black. Could be a problem with the LCD. Have a look here:Demarki wrote: Also another observation, when I removed the batteries and put them back in the screen did not display all the graphics like in the rest G&W I had, is this normal?

Thank you for your reply, but I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I have 2 G&W (Safe Buster and Zelda) which do not show all LCD on the screen at the same time as soon as you install the batteries, they just start normally. In all my other G&W as soon as I install the batteries I can see all graphics on the screens being displayed until I press either GAME or TIME.

OK, I see what you mean.
You are talking about the Test-Mode (or whatever it is called correctly).
Not all games have it, but I don't know how many of the 60 Game&Watch games have this Test-Mode #-o
