Let's talk about Videopoche! was created by gawaleus
As you may have seen, I've updated the
FAQ about Videopoche
.
I received many new information from David (aka Gawcol) who lives in Belgium and did a lot of research on Videopoche.
If you have any more information about it, or if there are information you don't agree, please let us know here
Thank you!

Hi,
As I've already said, it's a very interesting article, and if the information from David (Gawcol) are true, it’s a real scoop.
Now I would say that I’ve some doubt about the fact that « Albanel et Cie » is a belgian society, b/c due to the theory of David all the games imported to Belgium should be translated in two languages : French and Dutch.
I’ve got one "Mario bros." from "Albanel et Cie" and there’s nothing in Dutch inside, that's why I think it is a french Company, but not sure.
Look at my game :
A +, Matthieu

OK, that is interesting!
To make things a little bit more complicated (I love this hobby!
) ) - I have some more information here. I went through my games and found two with a sticker on it from a company called I.T.M.C from Gennevilliers in France. Gennevilliers is located just outside of Paris.
Well, it's a Super Mario New Wide Screen and a Donkey Kong Jr. from the same series.
I remember buying these games from sellers in France.
OK, so we have another company who sold Game&Watch? In France or Belgium? Fact is, that both boxes are english, not French. But the DK Jr. came with French paperwork, the Super Mario Bros has english paperwork. Maybe there have been papers in french, but the were removed. Anyway, what about the "language law in France"? Shouldn't the boxes be french?
