Serial Number match on console & Box ? was created by AnTiheLT
Hey guys, nice forum you got here :ok2:
My question is : I got an Nintendo Game & Watch Greenhouse, and it has the serial number on the back of the console, but not on the box !
Does this means the Box is an fake one ? or does some Original boxes not have the number on the box ?
Because on Ebay some boxes have an number and some dosent.

Just checked my boxed Mario Bros., Gold Cliff and Crab Grab, there are no serial numbers on the boxes, only on the game itself.
Don't confuse the serial number with the barcode on the box

Hello AnTiheLT and welcome to the forum!
Some boxes do have a serial number, some don't. Many games where released with different editions. For example the English version of Octopus OC-22 was released in four different editions.
The difference between the editions was mostly the box. Some boxes do have a barcode, others don't, or on the back side of the box there are a different number of other games shown, for example. The same goes for the number which is imprinted on the inside of the big flaps. Many games from the second edition do have such a number, but not the games from the first edition.
I'm working for about two week now to put all editions together and I'll show them on gameandwatch.ch once I have all information.
