Hi Rockula,

Welcome to the forum!

The Japanese versions are harder to find, but they are my preference. I like the colourful instructions booklets.

Do you already own any G&W?

Hi Rockula :welcome:

Collecting the Japanese or English versions of the games depends on your taste. I like both of them so I do collect both ;-) Like Willsh said, the Japanese ones are not so easy to find.

Hmmm Japanese ... or english...

you mis a lot of other choices :
French, German, Swedish, Dutch, ...
From thoose mades : J.I21,tricOtronic, CGL, PocketSize, ....

anyway there's a lot of releases for only 60 games.

From my point of view, i collecte mainly J.I21 for the boxes and the language (french).
i also have an almost complete collection of the english boxes.

and i'm the only collector of all languages papers (tell me if someone else do the same)

Check them here
www.maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=109008

and particulary this one

www.maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=109822

which shows the moste different instruction leaflets

NOw You have the mission to choose which one does BEST fit yourwishes :)

We are only able to give you advices :)

Thats a good collection you have there Mike ,but i am after the english versions possibly australian versions of the games.

I am after games that are in Mint condition .

The european games are also good but i like the english versions .

Thanks :) my collection is not as good as i would like to but... it's a nice one.

OK for collecting english versions...
then you'll have to collect the FutureTronic versions

FutureTronic is the reseller that sells game&Watch in Australia

here is an auction of a futuretronic game
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0070937263

See the logo on the lower right corner of the front of the box and
on the upper right on the game

I also have to say that thoose versions are hard to find (rarity).

I agree with you. My preference is also for the japanese manuals and sheets. They are better than the english/other versions.
