Missing serial no. was created by wooyayjohn
What is the effect on value of a missing serial no?

Is it worth listing the item for auction (obviously stating re the serial no.).

Or is the Game & Watch effectively worthless to the collecting community?

Many thanks.

John.

Hello John and welcome to the forum :welcome:

A game for sure is worth less without the serial number. But it still has its value for collectors. So, it's worth listing the game.

Depending on what kind of game it is and its condition (plus with or without manual, box etc.), you still might get a good price for it even without s/n.

A Game&Watch game never is worthless, even if it is in bad shape. Some collectors do buy such games for spare parts.

Thanks for the reply Patrick.

Have a couple of nice Game and Watches which I might sell on Ebay in addition to the less nice one.

This is a great website which I will explore in more detail in the future.

John.
