Besides the standard Game&Watch games, there are special country specific versions. One of them is the Pocketsize version, which was released in the USA and in Canada by Nintendo of America (NOA). The Pocketsize versions differ in their boxes from the standard versions. Their boxes are more colorful and cartoon like. One of the rarest Pocketsize games was sold on eBay recently: Micro vs. System Punch Out!! (Boxing, BX-301). The end price was EUR 214,50 which is very low!

Not all Game&Watch games were released as Pocketsize and in different quantities. The game Punch Out!! from the series Micro vs. System, known as Boxing in the standard version, for sure is one of the top rarest games in its Pocketsize version. There is only one game listed in the price charts database at gameandwatch.ch. That one was sold in September 2009 for EUR 455,00. The price of the Punch Out!! here is very low. EUR 214,50 for such a rare game is a bargain! But it's not sure, if the game really was sold for this price. Having a closer look at the auction data tells you, that the auction was closed after a bit less than two and a half days. The seller knew that it's an extremely rare game, so why not let the auction run for ten days...? Strange...
