Game&Watch memo pad

E-mail Print

Game&Watch EntwürfeThe website of Nintendo Japan contains an interview with Satoru Iwata, the president of Nintendo and some of the early developers of the Game&Watch games. Unfortunately the interview is in Japanese only.

But at least there are some very interesting pictures of a memo pad, showing early development sketches of some Game&Watch games!

Update: Meanwhile there is an English translation available in a forum!

Game&Watch keyholderIs it coincidence, that exactly this year when Game&Watch celebrates its 30th birthay, three games will return?
But they will not be the games we are used to, instead three mini versions as keyholders. They will not be playable, instead there will be sprites moving in pre-determined patterns on the screen. Let's see what else of Game&Watch will find its way to the market this year... Cool
