Many collectors know this situation: a game has a problem with its display. To check what's wrong with it, the game gets disassembled. But when it comes to assembling the game, the difficulties start ... what part belongs to where? In which order are the films and filters supposed to be placed? And what are the black rubber parts for?


In the forum I have added some pictures showing how to assemble the upper part of a Multi Screen Game. If you view the pictures in the opposite order, they show how to disassemble the game. :-)

The pictures are located in the German part of the forum, but I guess the pictures will speak for themselves.

In the USA and in Kanada the Game&Watch were distributed as Pocketsize versions beside the regular games. The Pocketsize games came with colourful boxes, typically with cartoon like characters (more information about Pocketsize).

Not very many of these Pocketsize versions were produced, this makes them rare or even very rare. Typically it's very difficult to collect them. But now a collector managed to get all of them. See this stunning collection in the picture gallery.

In France the Game&Watch were distributed under the name J.i21 and with the typical J.i21 logo on the boxes. Some games even have this logo imprinted on their case (these are very rare games). But did you know, that there exist two different types of boxes of the game J.i21 Donkey Kong DK-52? The boxes show some remarkable differences!

But for sure is the fact, that it all was an April fools day joke! (as most of you did notice)

It would be far too nice to be true, wouldn't it? THE sensation!


Unfortunately nothing about it is true. Everything, the news and the pictures are an Aprils-fools-day-trick.
Well, maybe we will have a real sensaion by the next year, who knows...?!

Incredible: Today, a few big carton boxes were found in a big stockroom. All of them full of the famous and much sought-after Super Mario Bros YM-901. Overall there are five big cartons, each of them holding a total of 50 smaller ones. Every of the small cartons contain 60 yellow SMB 901. This makes a total of 15'000 Super Mario Bros YM-901 Games! What a great find!

Until today, it was known that there was a total of 10'000 produced. The yellow YM-901 never was sold in stored, but given away by Nintendo to the winners of a contest. But now it's very much clear, that Nintendo produced many more of these games. It's unknown why they have been stored away and why they never were given away or sold. More information will follow soon here on gameandwatch.ch...!
