Unfortunately more and more fake Game&Watch items are sold on eBay. Mainly it's:

- Box

- Styropore

no-fake-game-and-watch.jpg- Papers (Warning, how to play etc.)

- Plastic bags for the games

- Batteries

- Battery cover

Everything but the game itself is beeing faked!

Following eBay sellers do sell fake Game&Watch items or did sell them:
bestiario, chrisant7, coccoballi, cornishdavey, filmfocus, florapaca, fredolococo, garfn7, gatti2967, geelongfan73, geshoey, get-etc, gory7976, gsebxr1000k7, hobbymodel, lovegameshop, mtoynbee, nono.2013, onthegoexpress, pazymax, picsboutic, syd7280, vintage_showroom.

These are not all sellers. You'll find the complete list of all sellers and buyers of fake G&W items here.

For a real collector of Game&Watch, these fake items are worthless. Unfortunately the fakes are resold on eBay. It's more and more difficult to have an overview. That's why gameandwatch.ch did create a list of those items including their sellers and buyers. There is also a possibility to report auctions of fake Game&Watch items and there you can see the latest list of sellers and buyers of fake G&W.

>> Report auctions of fake G&W items

If you spot auctions where fake G&W items are offered, please report them, thank you!

To keep away such people from your auctions, you can add them to your blocklist. How this works is described here in the eBay help pages.

#2 Gawaleus 2009-07-05 14:57 Hi Chad
The seller "onthegoexpress" sells many fake Game&Watch items. He's not only selling full sets, he even has auctions where some items are fake and others are not (so he mixes up the items). It's very smart to have a close look at the pictures and read the auction description very well. Or even better: don't buy from "onthegoexpress"…

Anyway, if you have received faked items and he did not mention anything in the auction description, you can report him to eBay! But read the auction description again, "onthegoexpress" usually does not write "fake", he uses the word "repro" instead…

+1 #1 Chad 2009-07-05 13:39 Hi there,

I'm really worried? I just bought a number of Game and Watches from "onthegoexpress" and am waiting for delivery. I paid top dollar for them as they were the missing links to 2 sets.

Am I just the idiot left holding them or is there something I can do?

I have also bought items from "onthegoexpress" which came in reproduction boxes which wasn't advertised? Is there something I can do?

Any help would be great.

Chad
