Rare game or a trick?

E-mail Print
blue-snoopy-tennis-kleinThis Snoopy Tennis is for sale on eBay. The blue buttons and the slightly colored screen are very conspicuous. Is it a very rare misproduction or just a trick?

Blisterpack-Party!

E-mail Print

Most Game&Watch games were sold in the well known carton boxes. But some games made it onto the market in a blisterpack. We know that these games were sold in the USA and some countries in Europe. There are not many blisterpack games around very often, which makes them very rare. Many collectors really like this rare kind of packaging for Game&Watch. A collector of Game&Watch has sold four of these blisterpack games on eBay lately:

  • Donkey Kong Junior, New Wide Screen, ca. 121 Euro |  (Auction / PDF)
  • Donkey Kong II, Multi Screen, ca. 131 Euro |  (Auction / PDF)
  • Mario Bros., Multi Screen, ca. 262 Euro (Auction / PDF)
  • Punch Out, Micro vs System, ca. 205 Euro (Auction / PDF)

Extremely rare Game&Watch game

Nintendo Pocketsize Punch OutBesides the standard Game&Watch games, there are special country specific versions. One of them is the Pocketsize version, which was released in the USA and in Canada by Nintendo of America (NOA). The Pocketsize versions differ in their boxes from the standard versions. Their boxes are more colorful and cartoon like. One of the rarest Pocketsize games was sold on eBay recently: Micro vs. System Punch Out!! (Boxing, BX-301). The end price was EUR 214,50 which is very low!

Interesting eBay tools

E-mail Print
logo-ebayMembers of eBay can add any auction to their watchlist. Only the seller can see the number of people watching his auctions. But it would be interesting to know for all bidders and members, how big the interest in the auctions is...
Since the end of 2008, the member ID of the high bidder/buyer are anonymous. They are shown like m***a for example. Well, it would be interesting to know who the high bidder and the final buyer is.

Now you have the possibility to see the number of members watching the auctions and even the full ID of the high bidder/buyer, if you know how to do it!

Rare: White Spitball Sparky!

E-mail Print
White Spitball SparkyAn extremely rare white Spitball Sparky from the Super Color Series was sold on eBay yesterday! Even for a very low price of  EUR 54.95, a true bargain! The special thing on this game is its case. Instead of being silver it's white! So far only on or two of such games have been spotted. A while ago, the second game of the Super Color Series named Crab Grab, was seen with a white case as well.

Panorama Screen Mickey Mouse

E-mail Print
Mickey Mouse DC-95The games of the Panorama Screen Series are very special. On one side because their screen flips open, on the other side because of their color screen. And because of their special (big) size as well.
Nintendo manufactured a total of six different games from the Panorama Screen Series: Snoopy (SM-91), Popeye (PG-92), Donkey Kong Jr. (CJ-93), Mario's Bombs Away (TB-94), Mickey Mouse (DC-95), Donkey Kong Circus (MK-96).

The last two, Mickey and Donkey Kong, are not often offered on eBay. Even very rarely including their box and manual. No surprise if some collectors dig deep into their wallet if finally such a rare game shows up. The Mickey Mouse which is shown here was sold lately for USD 588,99.
