The repro boxes are very "shiny" and white on the inside. The paperwork has in most cases the wrong color. If you buy on eBay, always have a good look at the auction description. Many seller mention that there are repros. If you are unsure, ask the seller if all items are genuine or not.Quote

#2Gawaleus2009-11-15 15:09Well, the problem I see, if the seller adds fake paperwork and fake batteries to the games. It's almost impossible to spot them on the pictures. Most seller do mention that the box is a repro, but I guess not all do. Adding a bad picture to the auction also makes it very difficult to see if the box is genuine or not. No, I don't like this fake stuff at all! I rather have a game without box instead of in a fake one!
#1Karl1232009-11-15 14:03Hello,I think the repro items for the game and watch are a god send really and i dont see a problem with them. If they can help someone along their quest to complete thier collection then what is the problem. The only problem i can see happening is if the seller is selling the item as an original but as far as i am aware they are not? The boxes quite clearly state on them that they are non official so again i dont see a problem and i dont see any infringment as long as the seller clearly states that these are repro items. I am a collector myself and for me they are great,as i have nearly all the game & watch series but i am short on some boxes and i know i'll never be able to find originals so this is why i dont see a problem. This is just my opinion on the topic . Best Regards.Quote
